Assistance Dogs on Board

Only guide dogs and assistance dogs are permitted on our coaches.

An assistance dog is an animal that has received individualized task training from a specialized organization or individual to meet the needs related to its handler’s disability.

Acceptance Conditions

The dog must:

• Wear a visible identifying item (harness, collar, vest) with the logo of the training organization.
• Be accompanied by an identification document stating:
  • The name of the dog and the owner,
  • The name of the training organization,
  • A certificate of task training.

? No medical proof or evidence of the dog’s benefits may be required.

Before Your Departure

• Contact us at least 48 hours in advance to notify us of your travel with an assistance dog.
• Request priority boarding after purchasing your ticket: we will try to keep the adjacent seat free (no guarantee during busy periods).

Your dog must travel lying on the floor. No seat can be reserved for the dog.

• There is no official government certification for assistance dogs in Quebec.
• In case of doubt, we will contact the organization listed on your documents.
