Our coaches are not equipped with ramps to place scooters in the baggage compartment.

Reservation and Boarding

Are you traveling in a wheelchair?
• Please notify our team at least 3 days prior to departure if you require a coach with a lift platform.
Submit your request via our contact form (under the “Accessible transportation” section) or call 1-833-449-6444.

Can you board using the steps?

If you can board the coach using the stairs and use a manual (non-motorized) wheelchair, you may travel on any departure, and your wheelchair will be stored in the baggage compartment.

Traveling with a Companion

Your companion may travel for free under certain conditions. Please contact our customer service team for more information.

Anchoring Devices, Safety Belts, and Regulatory Requirements

In accordance with regulations:
• The wheelchair passenger must wear the coach’s safety belt (not the one integrated into the wheelchair).
• The wheelchair must be equipped with proper anchor points.
• The driver must ensure the wheelchair is securely anchored before departure.
• If the wheelchair cannot be safely secured or if the passenger refuses to wear the seatbelt, they must use a regular seat without assistance from the driver.
• The driver is required to deny boarding to any passenger whose wheelchair cannot be immobilized or who refuses to comply with the requirements.

For optimal comfort and compliance, the use of a lightweight transport chair is recommended.

Oxygen Tanks

Passengers with respiratory conditions may travel with a personal oxygen tank under certain conditions.

In the Event of an Accessible Service Cancellation

A compensation protocol is in place if an accessible trip is canceled by Orléans Express. For full details, please consult the Terms and Conditions under “Delayed departure and out of our control event”or click here.
